The Kunta Kinte Orthopedic Hospital complex is the latest initiative of the International SOS Society (ISOSS). The Society was founded in 1989 by Bryan O. Lowe and his sister Dorothy Lowe-Wilbekin from Brooklyn, New York.
The Society established an international link between disabled Ghanaians and individuals abroad who are sympathetic to their plight. The Hospital is registered in Ghana as a charitable Non-Government Organization (NGO.)
Our Aim
A. To provide medical care for the physically disabled
B. To assist the physically disabled in learning to walk and acquiring vocational skills
C. To help and rehabilitate infected polio victims
D. Restore limbs to accident victims
E. Rehabilitate the physically disabled
