COMMUNITY PROJECTS:
ISOSS has acquired 12 acres of land in Mampong Akuapem, Ghana. The land is under development for the group's proposed Mampong Akuapam SOS HOME INTERNATIONAL.
When completed, the home will house about 50 disabled people and a small staff. It will provide vocational training in arts and crafts and will include a dispensary, dining hall and a few offices, as well.
RECENTLY COMPLETED CONSTRUCTION OF KKOH:
ISOSS has recently completed the construction phase of the new KKOH (Kunta Kinte Orthopedic Hospital) in Ghana. The complex has 13 facility buildings interconnected by concrete walkways.
It has an Orthopedic Ward, a Rehabilitation Ward and a General Ward. Some of it's features include an Occupational Therapy Suite with pool, a Mother's Hostel, Administrative Offices, Pharmacy, and more. You can learn more about the hospital, its amenities and its upcoming plans by visiting: KKOH.
